Teaching | URBP 608: Advanced GIS
Course description
This is a studio-based GIS course. The objective of the course is the application of GIS knowledge towards the solving of real-world problems. Various tasks include problem definition, data collection/manipulation, analysis, and presentation of results. Students will gain practical experience in implementing GIS technologies with specific emphasis on urban planning problems. Students are required to work in small groups in a simulated professional planning practice environment.
